Welcome to the new site for the Tri-State Herpetological Society. Huntington WV, first and only herpetological society. We are a group of hobbyist, breeders, and fans of reptiles, and amphibians. The club was created to give these individuals a place to share, and learn more about our hobby.
On our site you will be able to find information regarding meeting times, and places. As well on how you can become a member. The site is in it’s infancy, and will continue to be updated over the next couple of weeks.

At this time I would like to take a moment and ask for your help. There is a petition to force an investigation of the Humane Society of the United States. Read quote below, click the link and sign the petition.
“The Humane Society of the U.S (HSUS) is a very wealthy animal lobbying group operating under the guise of helping homelessanimals. However, awareness of its possibly illegal lobbying activities was raised in a complaint formally submitted to the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia. Questions remain as to why the formal, 18-page complaint, with 153 pages of supporting documents that was received by a DOJ Attorney on August 4, 2011, and which alleges that the HSUS has failed to comply with the Lobbying Disclosure Act of 1995, has largely been ignored.
We respectfully request that the Obama administration direct the IRS to thoroughly investigate the possible non-compliance of this organization with the Lobbying Disclosure Act of 1995.”
